Quickie Accounting Terms

Quickie Accounting is bookkeeping software. It builds cash-basis financial statements — monthly profit & loss, spend by category, and cash position — from the business bank accounts you connect, keeps them current, and lets you review and recategorize any transaction. Your corrections persist across every rebuild.

Quickie is not a CPA firm, public accounting firm, or tax-return preparer, and Quickie Accounting is not tax, legal, accounting, financial, or investment advice. Statements are automated, cash-basis software output built from your linked bank data — not an audit, review, or compilation under any professional standard, and not GAAP financial statements. You are responsible for reviewing your statements and for your own tax and legal obligations.

Bank connections are made through Plaid Inc. Your bank credentials go to your bank or Plaid — never to Quickie. For accounting features the connection is used on a read-only basis to retrieve balances, transactions, and account metadata; it is not used to move money (your subscription billing is a separate authorized charge). Data is encrypted at rest and handled under our Privacy Policy.

Statement quality depends on your bank connections staying linked and on the data your bank reports. Automated categorization can be wrong — that is why every line item is editable. When you recategorize a transaction, the correction is saved and reapplied on every rebuild. Accounts you do not connect are not reflected. Cash amounts are bank-reported balances, not reconciled book balances.

Quickie Accounting is a monthly subscription with tiers priced by deposit volume as shown at checkout (currently Starter $49/month, Core $99/month, Scale $199/month). Eligible existing Quickie funding customers receive a 30-day free trial; a valid payment method is authorized at signup and the subscription begins billing automatically when the trial ends, then renews monthly at the disclosed price until you cancel. Without a trial, your first month is charged at signup. Failed renewals are retried; after repeated failures the subscription pauses and is canceled for non-payment if unresolved. A Quickie Accounting payment issue never affects any funding agreement.

Quickie does not prepare or file tax returns. Quickie Accounting is bookkeeping software. You are responsible for your own tax and legal obligations. You may export or share your statements with a tax professional of your choosing; any engagement for tax preparation is solely between you and that professional.

Cancel anytime from the portal Accounting page — cancellation is effective immediately, statements stop updating, and no further charges run. Charges already made for a billing period are non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine, in our discretion, that the product did not deliver (write team@tryquickie.com and we’ll make it right).

Quickie Accounting is a standalone product. Subscribing is not an application for financing, does not obligate you to apply, and does not guarantee approval or any funding terms. Funding offered by Quickie is commercial funding — a purchase of future receivables, not a consumer loan — for qualified files.
