How to Connect Your Bank with Plaid

Why we ask you to connect

Quickie underwrites business cash flow. A secure bank connection (via Plaid) lets us read deposit patterns and account health without you photographing months of statements.

What Plaid is

Plaid is a widely used financial data service. Quickie does not see or store your bank login. The connection is designed to be read-only for underwriting and servicing needs described in your consents and agreement.

How to connect

  1. In the apply or portal flow, choose Connect bank.
  2. Pick your institution and sign in through Plaid’s secure window.
  3. Select the business operating account that receives revenue.
  4. Confirm — you should return to Quickie with a successful connection status.

Common snags

  • Wrong account type — Personal-only or fintech wallets may not underwrite cleanly. Prefer a traditional business checking account.
  • Institution outage — Try again later or another linked business bank if you have one.
  • MFA / app approval — Finish the bank’s second-factor prompt in the Plaid window.
  • Multiple entities — Connect the account that matches the business on the application.

Privacy and control

You authorize the connection as part of the application. For privacy requests or security concerns, contact support@tryquickie.com — it routes to the right specialist.

Connecting is usually the fastest way to see real options — still subject to underwriting, never a guarantee of approval.

FAQ

Is it safe to connect my bank?

Bank connections run through Plaid so Quickie does not receive your bank password. Data is protected with industry-standard encryption. You should still only connect on the official Quickie flow.

Can I upload statements instead?

Plaid is preferred for speed. Document uploads may be requested or used when a live connection is not available — timing can be slower.
